Five new outdoor Padel courts delivered for Centre Court Padel in St Helens — another exciting milestone for the sport’s growth in the North West.

This project was a collaboration in the truest sense. The team at Centre Court Padel took the lead on their own groundworks, and we stepped in to supply and install the five courts themselves. From the very beginning, we worked closely with the owners to support them through the entire process — from planning advice and specialist reports to layout design and technical guidance.

Every Padel project starts long before the first delivery truck arrives. Early conversations covered everything from optimal court orientation and drainage strategy to canopy feasibility and lighting placement. It’s this level of preparation that sets successful clubs apart. When you invest the time in getting the fundamentals right, the installation becomes far smoother and the end result more durable.

Centre Court Padel had a clear vision: to create a vibrant, community-driven venue that gives players in St Helens a premium outdoor playing experience. Our role was to make that vision tangible. Each of the five courts was designed for year-round use, featuring top-quality materials that perform well in the UK’s mixed weather conditions and require minimal maintenance.

Because the client handled their own civils, coordination was key. We provided detailed foundation drawings and technical requirements in advance, and remained on hand throughout the process to ensure that tolerances and anchor points matched our specifications exactly. Once the groundwork was complete, our installation team arrived on-site to begin assembling the courts — glass, mesh, steelwork and turf coming together in a carefully sequenced build.

Even with large-scale installations like this, challenges are inevitable. Weather delays, supply timing, and the normal logistics that come with multiple simultaneous builds can all add complexity. What matters is how you manage them. Thanks to constant communication between our team and the Centre Court Padel owners, every potential issue was solved before it became a setback.

By the time the final court was completed, the site had transformed into a true hub for local players. Standing back and seeing all five courts lined up — clean, precise, and ready for play — is a reminder of why we do what we do. Each project represents months of collaboration, planning and problem-solving that culminate in a space where people will connect, compete and create memories for years to come.

From a design perspective, we took care to ensure optimal spacing between courts, efficient lighting coverage, and easy access for both players and maintenance. These small but critical details have a big impact on the player experience and long-term operation of a club.

We’re proud of the role we played in helping bring Centre Court Padel to life. It’s not just about supplying courts — it’s about guiding clients through the process, helping them make informed decisions, and ensuring that every project is built to last.

This build also highlights one of the key advantages of our model: flexibility. Whether the client prefers to handle their own groundwork or wants a fully turnkey delivery from start to finish, we can adapt our approach accordingly. Our goal is always the same — to make sure the final product meets the highest standards of performance, safety, and visual impact.

A huge thank you to the Centre Court Padel team for their trust, commitment, and hands-on involvement throughout the project. The finished site stands as a fantastic addition to the growing UK Padel landscape, and we’re proud to have contributed to it.
